DCGR had another wonderful day out at the Dalbeattie Makers Market in the Parish Church on Saturday 3rd June where we had a fundraising stall with lots of marvellous goodies on offer to raise funds for homeless hounds.
This month, members Robert and Julia from Dalbeattie did a fantastic job running the stall with their gorgeous greyhound Lexi on paw to provide “Meet A Greyhound” opportunities and plenty of cuddles.
It may have been a quieter day than usual with the sunshine drawing people outside but as ever it was a great opportunity to show off the greyhounds and remind people what wonderful pets they make.
Julia and Robert staffed the table all day with Lexi and were joined for a while by Graham and Margaret with Honey and Rhys and Richard with Bertie and the result of all their hard work means over £150 was raised to help find greyhounds forever homes.
Well done to you all, a fantastic result and we hope to see everyone again next time as the Market takes place on the first Saturday of each month.
