DCGR had a Greyt day at the Dalbeattie Makers Market on Saturday 6th May where there were 5 greyhounds to show off to the public at various times including Lexi, Bertie, Dawnie, Rhys and Honey. A huge thank you especially to Andy and Pui-San for coming along with Dawnie to help out.
The event is held on the first Saturday monthly in the Dalbeattie Parish Church Hall and was busier than anticipated this time as it was also Coronation Day but people still came to see us to ask questions about adopting a greyhound and we hope some greyhounds will find homes as a result.
Over £175 raised for DCGR funds including some sales made from Graham and Margaret’s house prior to the event and thank you to all who attended and helped to support the homeless hounds.
