Dan and Leo: Two gorgeous boys still waiting for their forever homes
There are some dogs who take a little longer to find a home just because of appearances. Often it’s the black coated dogs, or the male dogs, typically people don’t ask for the older dogs first and many people think a medium or larger dog won’t fit in with busy homes and lives.
So, if you are some of these things, you may see many of your kennel pals waving their paws goodbye on their way to forever homes as you continue to wait patiently for your new family to arrive. We currenty have 2 such boys both looking for a home each.
Dan and Leo are gorgeously handsome, loving boys who are both living in foster homes. Between them, they have everything most people are looking for: both great car travellers, Dan is full of energy for long walks, Leo is happy with less activity, one who can live with other dogs and one who wants to be the only pet, both very affectionate, great on lead, already house trained and used to life in the big world. So surely one of these boys will suit everyone!
Leo and Dan are both 4 years old, black coated boys, Leo is medium sized, Dan a little bigger, both neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, parasite treated and completely used to home life. Both can be left alone for a few hours and are great with children and traffic.
Dan and Leo are both very affectionate dogs. Dan is very confident and would like to be the only dog in the home, both are so happy meeting people out and about and Leo could be suited to a household with another medium or large breed dog.
Leo and Dan love their toys, will play happily in a garden, love zoomies and going on walks. Leo loves a snooze on the sofa with you, Dan is chilled on his bed and won’t pester you for attention.
Dan and Leo are both great travellers in the car. They hop straight in unaided, settle happily and love going out on adventures. Leo and Dan walk beautifully on the lead and Leo loves to go out walking with his doggy pals.
Both Leo and Dan are ex-racers so are not suited to living with small furry companions, cats or near livestock and Dan would prefer to live in a more urban environment but Leo is happy everywhere.
