We never put a healthy dog to sleep and will look for the right home for as long as it takes,

Monthly Walk

January's Monthly Walk is Denton Holme, Carlisle

Please join us this month for our greyhound walk which is from Denton Holme in Carlisle, on a circular route following the River Caldew to the Carlisle Cemetery and returning along the river.

The walk starts at 10.30am on Saturday, January 31st and we look forward to seeing you all there for the first get together of 2026!

What We Do

We look for forever homes or foster places for retired or injured, ex-racing greyhounds. We never put a healthy dog to sleep and will look for a home for as long as it takes.

We raise all our own funds through events, donations and sales in our charity shop. All our staff are volunteers and all our income is used for the welfare of the dogs in our care.
