This walk is in Lochmaben, Dumfriesshire, DG11 1NN making a circular route around Castle Loch including woodlands, Lochmaben Castle ruins and stunning scenery.
We start from the car park just behind Lochmaben Bowling Club walking around Castle Loch, past the sailing club and on through farming and wood lands. On our return, you may like to visit the award winning Crolla’s Gelateria for some fabulous ice-cream.
The walk is a little longer than our other walks at around 3 miles but on well maintained, mostly flat paths.
Facilities include parking, toilets and Crollas Gelateria is less than 0.5 mile further up the road in Lochmaben. Hope to see you all there!
