This walk is in Dalston, Carlisle, CA5 7PH, taking a circular route through the park land, along the River Caldew and returning to Dalston along The Green.
Starting from the Kingsway Car Park on The Green, we enter the park land path to cross the river at the White Bridge. It’s then a lovely walk through farming lanes and wooded paths along the River Caldew until crossing back over the river at the Hawksdale Bridge and making our way back to the Kingsway Car Park.
The walk is around 2 miles along the river on established paths but please wear appropriate footwear as the riverside path can be muddy. Facilities include toilets and parking with additional facilities at the Co-op and other local shops. We look forward to seeing you there!
