This walk is in Silloth, Maryport, CA7 4AW, taking a circular route along West Beach and through the golf course, to return to the Life Boat Station.
Meeting at the RNLI lifeboat station on Lawn Terrace, we start the walk going down to West Beach, along the beach to cross Solway Golf Club and head back north on the main road to Silloth.
This is a 2.5 mile route on mostly flat paths but do wear appropriate clothing for wet beach and potentially muddy paths across the golf course. Facilities include parking at the RNLI Lifeboat Station, toilets on Silloth Green and fantastic fish & chips and/or ice cream options along the main road. Hope to see you all there!
