Another successful day held at the monthly Dalbeattie Makers Market on Saturday 5th August. With the weather remaining dry for most of the time, loads of visitors popped in for a chat and when they saw all the greyhounds they were delighted to stop and browse all the goodies too.
Matt and Viv from Damhead Kennels had donated some amazing framed craft items to raise funds and there was even an old fashioned gramophone record player as centre piece to wow the crowds.
Over £260 was raised on the day and huge thanks to everyone who assisted on the stall and to organiser Clare for making us so welcome.
Special thanks also to Freya, a DCGR greyhound who was on holiday in D&G from Sunderland and DCGR greyhounds Dakota and Jess who brought their humans from Galston in Ayrshire. Also in the pictures are Bertie and Lexi from Dalbeattie and Rhys and Honey from Kirkgunzeon along with interloper Max, a Great Dane puppy from Rhonehouse!
Looking forward to next months market on the 2nd September and hope to see you all there!
