One of our long time members and an active supporter, Clare Cogbill, is also an acclaimed author. She has generously donated a number of her books over the years and now a few copies of her latest book Finding Nell and Mads will be available on our fundraising tables while stocks last!
Clare says, “This is my new book which follows Nell and Mads on their emotional journeys from the time of rescue to their lives with us and their new buddy Ralph. That first year and a half were tricky at times, and even though I spent my entire career either looking after animals or teaching about them, there were troubling aspects of both dogs’ behaviour that took us time to work through. Both dogs have moved mountains to get to where they are now and this is their rollercoaster story”.
We are delighted to receive these marvellous books to help us raise funds for our Homeless Hounds and we will have this and a few copies of her previous book A Dog Like Peggy, The Life and Times of a Rescued Greyhound available at our next events. 100% of the sales of these books goes to helping the dogs in our care look for their forever homes.
