What a start to 2024! Representatives of DCGR went down to Southerness in Dumfries and Galloway this afternoon to pick up the cash raised from the Christmas Light display in the town put on by Alec and Ann McGregor.
Not only was cash raised by the lights but Lynn and Edward from the Paul Jones Pub ran a raffle over the festive period with the proceeds being donated to DCGR.
Graham and Margaret, Richard, Robert and Julia along with greys Rhys, Honey, Lexi and Bertie spent an hour in the pub (well why not) extolling the virtues of having a greyhound as a family pet. Result – everyone convinced!
When the cash was counted, a fantastic £304.90 will be banked into DCGR funds. Massive thanks to Alec, Anne, Lynn and Edward for their support.
