Amazing Donations From Our Supporters – 3rd July
Margaret & Matt fundraising 2023

Damhead Kennels & Cattery, Tinwald

On 3rd July, Matt from Damhead Kennels dropped off their charity tin containing sales and donations collected at the Kennels for the DCGR greyhounds in need.

The total came to a magnificent £305.10 and in the last year Viv and Matt have raised well over £1,000.00 in donations from their generous customers and supporters. We are so very grateful for all their support and generosity and the greyhounds are very lucky to count on them for their fantastic kennel care.

Whilst on the 21st June, Emma Maxwell from Kirkgunzeon Canines also collected over £65.00 in donations from the charity tin in the “Pup Hut” at her amazing Freedom Field for dogs to run off lead in a secure, safe and fun area. Emma has been a magnificent supporter of DCGR since she opened her Freedom Field and we would like to thank all her visitors for being so generous. Emma supplies tea and coffee in the “Pup Hut” and all she asks is that her customers drop some coins in one of the two charity tins as a token of their appreciation.

We can’t wait to support her at her 3rd Annual Summer Gala on Saturday 19th August in Kirkgunzeon too and you’ll find more information on our Events Page and Emma’s Facebook Page.

We are also very lucky to have the support of Heather Kirk of Kirk Soaps who also has one of our charity tins at the “Our Wee Pop Up Shop” in Annan where a range of local crafters sell a variety of gorgeous handmade items. Heather and her family are fantastic supporters at our events and have given our dogs adoption and fostering support as well as showcasing her luxury wares (see picture below) at fundraisers.
